Breed: (Paint x QH x Thoroughbred)
Status: Available
Description: Two year old gelding.  Started in halter ground work, round pen training.  He would make a great performance horse or even jumper. He is out of a registered AQHA Appendix (QH xThoroughbred) mare and by a Appendix Quarter Horse stallion.   Very quiet and kind manners.  Not trailered yet. Black with grey coming out.

Our Mission:

The Black Forest Animal Sanctuary (BFAS) is a rescue and rehab farm dedicated to helping those animals that are abused, neglected, or no longer wanted by their current owners. Our organization has farms based in Colorado with Nationwide adoption & rehabilitation as our resources allow.  We are also known as Charlotte & Arthur Romero Wildlife.  A 501c3 not for profit.

We use a network of foster homes to place cats and dogs for adoption.  See foster information below.

All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.  We are all volunteer and need your support!  Examples:  It costs $150 to feed one horse for one month.  A vet exam will start around $200 and could reach $1000-10K in an emergency in just a few minutes.  Intake for a new dog which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, worming, leash, collar,  microchip, and a toy costs well over $300 for each dog.  A load of hay costs over $3500.		!
